SuperHero Spotlight: Rules and Participation Guide

Thank you for your interest in the SuperHero Spotlight program, brought to you by Stark Level Solutions (SLS) in partnership with The Monadnock Shopper News(TMSN)This guide outlines the rules, terms, and conditions for participating in the program. By submitting a nomination, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not participate.

1. Program Overview
SuperHero Spotlight celebrates everyday heroes in the Monadnock Region. Nominations are submitted via www.starklevelsolutions.com for consideration in a monthly featured editorial in The Shopper News. Selected heroes will be highlighted for their positive contributions, but participation is voluntary and at no cost.

 

2. Eligibility
  Nominees must be real individuals from everyday walks of life in the Monadnock Region 
  Nominations should focus on uplifting stories of community impact. SLS and TMSN reserve the right to reject            nominations that are inappropriate, defamatory, discriminatory, or violate any laws.

3. Submission Process
•  Submit nominations through the form on www.starklevelsolutions.com, including the nominee’s name, contact information (if available), a 300 word or less description of their heroic actions, and any supporting details 
•  By submitting, you represent that all information provided is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge.
•  You must have the nominee’s permission to submit their information and story. SLS and TMSN may contact the nominee for verification and additional details

4. Selection and Publication

    Entries do not guarantee that the submission will be selected or go to print. SLS and TMSN have sole discretion        in selecting features based on criteria such as community impact, originality, and alignment with program              goals.
•  Selected stories may be edited for clarity, length, grammar, or content without prior approval.
•  No compensation, prizes, or rewards are provided to nominators or nominees for participation or publication.

 

5. Automatic Enrollment and Communications

    Participation in the program (including submitting a nomination) automatically enrolls the nominating party          (you) in our social media channels for SLS and TMSN, where we may follow, tag, or interact with you.
    It also automatically registers your approval to receive direct emails from SLS or TMSN, including coupons,                  updates on upcoming events, newsletters, and all forms of advertising or promotional content.
•  You may opt out of these communications at any time by emailing [insert contact email, e.g.,                                         info@starklevelsolutions.com] with a request to remove your information from our lists. We will process opt-out     requests within a reasonable timeframe, but you may receive communications in the interim.

 

6. Privacy and Data Use
•  Personal information collected (e.g., names, emails, stories) will be used solely for program administration, verification, publication (if selected), and communications as described above.
•  By participating, you grant SLS and TMSN a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute the submitted content (including stories, photos, and nominee details) in connection with the program, including on websites, social media, and print media.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
•  SLS and TMSN accept no responsibility regarding the accuracy, intent, or liability for any external developments that may arise from nominations, publications, or program participation. This includes, but is not limited to, any disputes, claims, or harms arising from the nominee’s actions, story inaccuracies, or third-party reactions.
•  SLS and TMSNmake no warranties, express or implied, about the program, including its outcomes or effects on participants.
•  To the fullest extent permitted by law, SLS, TMSN, their affiliates, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the program, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

 

8. Indemnification
•  By participating, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SLS, TMH, their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
    •  Your submission, including any breach of representations (e.g., inaccurate information, lack of permission from the nominee).
    •  Any third-party claims related to intellectual property infringement, defamation, privacy violations, or other harms stemming from your nomination.
    •  Your participation in the program or use of any published content.
•  You further agree that SLS and TMSNare not responsible for any unauthorized use of submitted content by third parties.

 

9. Additional Terms
•  SLS and TMSN reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time without notice.
•  All decisions by SLS and The Monadnock Shopper News regarding nominations, selections, and program administration are final and binding.
•  This program is governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cheshire County, New Hampshire.
•  If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
•  Force Majeure: SLS and The Monadnock Shopper News shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond their reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, or governmental actions.
